DMP Appoints Dealer Development Manager for Northwest Region

Bret Anderson joins the DMP west coast sales team with 25+ years of industry experience, including his most recent role with Convergint Technologies.

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — DMP has appointed Bret Anderson to the position of dealer development manager (DDM) in the company’s Northwest territory.

Anderson’s duties as a DDM will include generating new sales opportunities and providing ongoing support to DMP-authorized dealers in the six-state territory including Alaska, Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana and Wyoming. This territory also encompasses British Columbia and Alberta, Canada.

Anderson joins the DMP west coast sales team with more than 25 years of experience in the security industry. Most recently, he represented Convergint Technologies as a business development manager where he built a new team and company presence throughout Idaho.

“I am very excited for the opportunity to expand my knowledge and experience with a well-known and successful company such as DMP,” Anderson says.

From working with super regional alarm companies and a national account, Anderson’s career thus far has given him ample exposure to the company’s products and services. Among his peers and colleagues, he is recognized for his skills and expertise in fire alarms and access control, according to an announcement.

The company is a recognized leader in alarm communication over data networks, with products that are available through professional electronic security companies.
