DMP Announces New Integrations, Latest Product Updates at GSX 2018

DMP news to come out of GSX 2018 includes new integrations with Hikvision and OpenEye, updates to its XT Series and XR Series, and much more.

LAS VEGAS — Digital Monitoring Products (DMP) revealed a trove of new information at GSX in regards to its lineup of access control, panel and automation offerings.

First up, the company introduced Farpointe Data’s new CSR-35 Conekt bluetooth reader and CMC-2 smartphone mobile access credentials as the newest members of DMP’s expanded line of high-security access control products.

The new readers can be installed on a metal door, window frame, or flat surface at any entry point, and are also compatible with DMP’s DE2 smartcard credential, according to the company. Like the DE2, the new CMC-2 mobile credential is based on MIFARE DESFire EV1 technology.

DMP Control Panel Enhancements

DMP also announced multiple enhancements for its XT Series and XR Series control panels.

All XT Series panels now have the added security feature known as “Entry Check-In Protection,” which is said to be a proactive safeguard against a burglar’s fast tactic to disable the security system before it can send an emergency signal.

The XT Series version 182 update also allows customers who use the Virtual Keypad app or browser to use the new Custom Actions programming to automate up to 20 different user programmable scripts.

Consumers can add video integration with multiple options and control it all from the app or browser. Customers who use the app also have the ability to allow up to 50 night or exit type zones to report to them as activity occurs on their systems.

DMP also announced its latest XT panel, the XTLtouch, which has an external 110db wireless siren that can be placed anywhere, as well as all the aforementioned new features.

As for the XR Series, enhancements include increased speed, reliability and greater distance in controlling Z-Wave Plus devices using their Virtual Keypad app, according to the company. DMP’s Dual Authority, previously called Two Man Rule, has also expanded with more options for added flexibility.

Additionally, as part of this update, DMP’s XR Series allows remote diagnostics from the Tech APP, just like the XT panel does. Now, the Tech APP can be used to perform communication testing and walk tests, as well as Z-Wave diagnostics. DMP is also increasing the sensor activity zones from 10 to 50.

DMP Integrates With OpenEye and Hikvision

DMP also announced you can now use OpenEye and Hikvision as commercial video options with any DMP system with the Virtual Keypad app or browser.

“This gives your customers the ability to view their Hikvision and OpenEye NVR cameras, all through Virtual Keypad Access or the Virtual Keypad app,” says Mark Hillenburg, executive director of marketing for DMP. “Both of these companies are leading providers of locally recorded video solutions and will allow you to deliver greater value to your customers.”
