Digital Monitoring Products (DMP) has launched SecureCom Wireless LLC as a new business to provide cellular service for customers utilizing the company’s 463G Digital Cellular Communicator.
SecureCom Wireless provides authorized DMP dealers with a wireless communication path as either the primary path or as a back-up.
The unit is a plug-in card that adds a direct wireless communication path from its XR500 panels to any DMP central station receiver over a GSM/GPRS data network. DMP customers will be able to install and activate the communications module in a single-step installation by using SecureCom.
“We do our best to support our customers with products that are both technically advanced, and simple to install and use,” says DMP General Manager David Rogers. “With the addition of SecureCom, we’ve provided installers with a single source for both the hardware and the cellular service needed to create a reliable dedicated wireless path for the transmission of alarm signals.”
