SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — DMP has appointed Emanuel (Manny) Maire to the position of dealer development manager in the company’s South Texas region. A long-time Houston resident, he will be responsible for developing new business across greater Houston as well as Austin, San Antonio, among other cities in southern Texas while also providing ongoing service to the region’s DMP-authorized dealers.
“We’re thrilled Manny has joined our team, and we know that he will do an outstanding job of helping our dealers,” says Derek Ottman, director of sales, central. “Manny is respected throughout the region,” Ottman adds. “He’s friendly and easy going, but he’s also very responsive — dealers know he’s someone they can count on.”
Maire has nearly 15 years sales experience in the security industry. During the past five years he represented ADI Global Distribution as a regional account specialist during which he worked with many DMP dealers across the Houston area.
“I’m glad to have the opportunity to continue fostering the relationships I had with DMP dealers while working with ADI,” he says. Meanwhile, he adds, “DMP’s presence in Houston continues to grow significantly, and I’m excited to help new dealers develop.”
Previously, Maire worked in sales with Brinks Home Security. He also represented the telecom industry as a sales representative for commercial Internet and phone systems. He is married and has three children.
