The C-CV854D-3 vandal-proof color mini-dome camera, made by TOA Electronics Inc. of South San Francisco, is designed for indoor and outdoor use and features day/night functions. The housing is made of a die-cast aluminum alloy and the dome is made from a high-impact polycarbonate resin. The new dome is dustproof and waterproof, complying with IP66 requirements.
The camera comprises a 1/3-inch CCD imager capable of 500 TV lines of resolution with a vari-focal, three-axis lens, which makes adjustments easier. An optional heater assembly, Model C-A854H, allows for installation in extreme environmental conditions.
