ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Doyle Security Systems, a regional provider of residential and commercial security, fire and other life-safety systems, has acquired the accounts of Dakota Systems. Both companies are family owned and have been based here for many years.

The purchase will add approximately 300 accounts to Doyle Security Systems’ roster of clients, says company president and CEO John Doyle, Jr. Dakota Systems specializes in intrusion and fire systems, as well as video surveillance systems. The acquired accounts comprise about 70% residential and 30% commercial customers and bring in about $7,000 in recurring revenue.

“This merger will bring extensive value to Dakota customers,” Doyle says. “In particular, our new customers will have access to Doyle Total Connect, our home automation solution with remote mobile management and our award winning alarm monitoring service which is provided by our own UL-listed and CSAA Five Diamond certified central station.”
