We’re still a little bit confused about the need for and purpose behind electric bicycles, but one thing we know for sure is they’re allowed to drive on the sidewalk, while cars most certainly are not. Then again, the latest batch of Surveillance Videos of the Week may say otherwise, at least in one instance.
Other top surveillance videos this week include a father-and-son duo helping to rescue a family of six from their drowning boat in Florida, a pair of hikers taken from Yellowstone National Park after an apparent bear attack, a shootout on the National Mall in Washington, D.C., and a Texas father who shot and killed a carjacker as he attempted to steal the man’s car with his family inside the vehicle.
We’re starting to think Florida, Texas and our nation’s capital might be hotbeds of Surveillance Videos of the Week activity, but that probably makes sense given the number of unusual criminal activity there over the years!
