DSC Outlines Company Changes

Published: July 31, 2002

Digital Security Controls (DSC) Ltd. announces it has made some internal company changes as a result of its acquisition by Tyco Int’l Inc. in 2001. According to the company, in-house changes include restructuring its sales team, reducing the size of territories and adding sales and support personnel. With the increased staff, DSC said it will be hosting more than 250 training events throughout the Americas within the next 12 months, and coordinating promotional events at distributor locations.

In addition to the factory process changes, DSC has relocated the company’s “finished goods” warehouse from Lockport, N.Y., to Westminster, Mass.

“The company’s new owners support DSC’s approach to its market and have made it very clear that they have a mandate to grow the DSC business,” the company said in a statement.
