DOTHAN, Ala. — DSI Security Services recently announced company president Eddie Sorrells has been awarded the Lindberg Bell Security Executive of the Year Award, reflecting his “outstanding leadership, dedication, and unwavering commitment to shaping and advancing the security industry.”
Named in honor of Illinois Security Professionals Association co-founder Lindberg Bell, the award is given to security executives “who have made significant contributions to the field,” according to the company announcement.
Sorrells’ achievements “embody the spirit of this award and serve as a source of inspiration to the entire security community,” the announcement says.
Why Sorrells Won the Lindberg Bell Award
“I am truly honored to accept the prestigious Lindberg Bell Security Executive of the Year award from the Illinois Security Professionals Association,” says Sorrells in the company announcement. “This recognition highlights not only my commitment to excellence in the security industry but also reflects the hard work and dedication of our team at DSI Security Services.

Sorrells received his honor at the 63rd Annual Awards and Honors Gala in December. The event “celebrated professional excellence and served as a premier networking opportunity for security professionals across the industry,” according to the company announcement.
