DSI Security Services Appoints William “Will” Morris  as General Counsel

DOTHAN, Ala. – DSI Security Services recently announced the appointment of William “Will” Morris as general counsel. With “an extensive background in law and a dedication to excellence,” Morris “brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to his new role,” the company announcement says.

Born and raised in Dothan, Ala., Morris “developed a passion for law and justice early in life,” according to the announcement. After graduating from Dothan High School, he pursued his undergraduate studies at Auburn University, where he graduated with a degree in political science, with minors in history and criminology.

He was also inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa honor society and earned recognition in Who’s Who Among American University and College Students.

Morris continued his education at the University of Alabama School of Law, where he served on the Alabama Law Review and the James A. Campbell Moot Court Board, honing his legal skills and deepening his understanding of the law.

During law school, Morris served as a law clerk for the Alabama Attorney General’s Office in the General Civil Division. He also provided free legal representation to underserved communities through the law school’s Civil Clinic in Tuscaloosa.

Upon passing the bar, Morris joined the law firm of Morris, Andrews, Talmadge & Driggers, LLC, where he worked as an associate attorney. In this role, he handled a diverse range of cases, including premises liability cases, workers’ compensation claims, and general negligence cases.

Morris is admitted to practice in all state and federal courts in Alabama, the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals and Georgia. He is a member of the Houston County Bar Association and the Alabama Bar Association.
