Northford, Conn.-based Honeywell Power Products has released weatherproofed supplies, made to power video, access control and intrusion systems in preparation for cold weather seasons.

The company offers 17 varieties of weatherproof supplies designed to power video equipment and other security accessories. The products can be installed near outdoor pan/tilt/zoom (p/t/z) camera housings, along fences for perimeter intrusion systems or at power-controlled gates.

Eight styles of surge-protected, weatherproof units provide consistent power while safeguarding valuable security equipment from harmful voltage surges and spikes, according to the company. These durable supplies can withstand extreme wet and corrosive conditions, and are contained within lockable, sealed, noncorrosive enclosures, rated NEMA 4X (IP66) and conforming to NEC (National Electrical Code) standards.
