The Falcon XD Series DVR by Advanced Technology Video (ATV) comes with nine and 16 camera inputs. According to ATV, the XD Series features image sizes as low as 3kb compared to other manufacturers with image file sizes of 18 to 20kb. Not only does this result in longer record times, it also makes the transmission of images faster.
The XD Series of DVRs also comes with four spot monitor outputs that can be used as a 16 X 4 matrix switcher controlled by the Omni View dome keyboard controller. The Falcon XD provides a wide selection of monitor outputs, including BNC, SVHS and VGA. According to the company, image archival is easy with the use of an integrated CD/RW drive or USB 2.0 output for multimedia recording options.
