DynaPel products will now be available only from select security dealers who qualify under the firm’s Certified Dealer Network program. Special training is required for certification.
The move to change distribution is related to DynaPel’s commitment to quality control. According to DynaPel, this change in policy will assure the highest standards in design and manufacturing, distribution, and installation.
“Our intention is to minimize direct competition between dealers within markets,” says DynaPel Vice President Jeffery Vollmar. “Too many other dealer programs have focused on signing up as many dealers as they can. To me, that is not in the best long-term interest of our dealers.”
According to DynaPel, primary markets like Miami, New York, Chicago, Dallas and Los Angeles will be assigned a number of dealers. Secondary markets like Columbus, Ohio, Raleigh, N.C., and Salt Lake City will not be assigned as many.
“It is not our desire to saturate every market with as many dealers as possible,” says Vollmar.
In addition to specialized training in sales and technology, security dealers must pass an exam. Qualification also involves an annual purchase volume agreement with DynaPel.
