Kaba Access Control introduces its E-Plex standalone access controllers, the latest addition to the E-Plex brand of electronic access control.
The E-Plex 5×70 controllers work with the E5000, E5200 and E5700 series. The electronic access solution is designed for dual-swing doors, parking gates, turnstiles, glass doors, magnetic locks and electric strikes.
The product features online-type functionality in an easy-to-install reader unit with keypad. With exclusive vandal resistant tamper-switch circuitry, the E-Plex standalone access controller prevents unauthorized access. If tamper is attempted, the reader unit shuts down and emits bright blue lights until the unit is reset.
