Eagle Eye Networks Adds Multiview Camera Support to VMS

The company’s video management system automatically detects supported 180-degree and 360-degree panorama cameras on the network and configures them.

AUSTIN, Texas – Eagle Eye Networks has added support for multiview cameras to its video management system (VMS), including the M3007 and M3027 panoramic IP models by Axis Communications.

Multiview cameras are automatically configured by the VMS and can be recorded to the Eagle Eye Cloud or on premise. The VMS will also allow each data feed from the camera to be shared and remotely viewed, with granular control over user permissions.

The multiview cameras generate multiple video streams of zoomed-in or specific angles with a single camera equipped with 180-degree and 360-degree panorama views. Eagle Eye Networks says the need for only one camera to cover multiple areas will reduce installation and maintenance costs for customers.
