EasyLobby, a provider of secure visitor management systems, has partnered with MSR eCustoms, which provides automated systems that assist companies in their effort to comply with custom laws and regulations across the world. The partnership is expected to enhance EasyLobby’s building security software system with real-time, online background checks. This will enable EasyLobby clients to identify persons who could pose a security threat.
One component of the MSR eCustoms’ assistance system is a tool that is able to screen individuals’ names, comparing them with a database of known individuals who, for whatever reason, are considered to be a threat. .
“For many years, we have had a Watch List feature in our visitor management system to alert customers about unwanted visitors. Traditionally, our customers have used the Watch List feature to stop ex-employees, estranged spouses and the like from entering their facilities,” said EasyLobby CEO Howard Marson. “With the integration of eCustoms’ Restricted Party Screening solution, we are now able to extend the Watch List concept to identify and bar entry to individuals who appear on any one of the government’s Restricted Party lists, in real-time, and without having to periodically download those lists into our own database.”
