NEW YORK — Private equity firm Egis Capital Partners has named Bill Polk as a managing partner. He will be responsible for origination and fundraising at Egis.
For more than 25 years, Polk has been a leading lender to the security and defense industries. Prior to joining Egis, Polk most recently served at Capital One. He also worked for SLP Capital, a firm he created, as well as CapitalSource.
Inducted into the SSI Hall of Fame in 2011, Polk has been involved in more than $6 billion of middle-market security financing transactions.
