Eid Passport has changed its name to SureID.

The change, announced on Sept. 9, was made to reflect the company’s expertise in providing high-assurance identity management and digital identity solutions in order to ensure the security and safety of organizations and individuals, the company says.

“In a time when people can anonymously engage in many areas of modern life, increasing one’s confidence as to whom is trustworthy has never been more vital, and our programs do just that,” SureID CEO and Chairman Steve Larson said. “The name change to SureID aptly represents our focus of utilizing our patented high-assurance identity management processes and technology to manage digital identities for a wide variety of applications.”

The name change isn’t the only news. SureID also plans to expand its products to complement its RAPIDGate program, an identity management program that provides a multi-layered process for third-party personnel who require authorized entry into highly secure gate-access-based facilities.
