Electric Guard Dog Acquires Perimeter Security Systems

The purchase is one of many initiatives Electric Guard Dog plans to take since its own acquisition by Snow Phipps Group.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Electric Guard Dog, a provider of electric security fences and perimeter security, has acquired the assets of Southeastern regional electric security fencing provider Perimeter Security Systems from WSB & Co. No financial terms were disclosed.

Private equity firm Snow Phipps Group acquired Electric Guard Dog, based here, in June. Electric Guard Dog said it now intends to expand its business while continuing to provide its customers with quality services for its electric security fencing.

The acquisition includes all of the PSS customer contracts. With this purchase, Electric Guard Dog is taking active steps forward in its initiatives grow its business, according to a news release.

Several PSS employees have agreed to work with Electric Guard Dog.
