LOS ANGELES — Guard replacement services company Elite Interactive Solutions (EIS), which uses proprietary intelligence and 100% verified police calls, has promoted chief operating officer Michael Zatulov to company president.

Since joining Elite in 2018, Zatulov “has been integral to leading the business to double-digit year-over-year growth, substantial increases in recurring monthly revenue (RMR) and low single-digit customer attrition,” the company announcement says.

“Michael has done an exceptional job managing a multitude of responsibilities directly related to Elite’s tremendous success in recent years,” says EIS founder Aria Kozak, who will remain in his CEO role and continue to actively engage with the business.

“Michael’s high-level thinking and keen aptitude for managing both the financial and operational sides of the company have made his promotion to president exceedingly well deserved,” he says in the company announcement.

Zatulov is “an accomplished business operator with more than a decade of experience at the executive level of complex organizations with a focus on technology companies,” according to the announcement.

Why Elite Interactive Solutions Promoted Zatulov

During his time in the security industry, Zatulov helped Elite capture the Security Industry Alarm Coalition’s 2020 Police Dispatch Quality (PDQ) Award.

“I am honored, excited and grateful to have the opportunity to help lead Elite’s amazing team achieve new levels of success and market penetration,” says Zatulov in the company announcement.

“This is a fantastic industry for a multitude of reasons — including fast-advancing technology, marketplace demand and fulfilling the need to provide essential public services — and Elite is ideally positioned to remain at the forefront of progressive and proactive security solutions,” he says.

Prior to joining Elite, Zatulov served as a senior executive at a private equity firm focused on lower-middle market acquisitions where he directly oversaw operations of several publicly recognized brands. He began his career as a CPA, where he was involved in both business consulting and tax strategy practices.

Zatulov received a bachelor of science in economics from the University of California, Los Angeles as well as an MBA from the Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California.
