HILDEBRAN, N.C. — ELK Products has released a new version of its C1M1 Dual Path Alarm Communicator. The ELK-C1M1LTEA supports areas covered by the AT&T LTE cellular network and is available now through ELK authorized distributors.

Using both IP and cellular pathways, the company’s C1M1 Alarm Communicators are said to provide reliable, full data reporting to central stations. Eliminating dial capture, data bus decoding and Cloud servers significantly reduces transmission time, according to an announcement. The C1M1 simplifies remote access for programming and control of M1 controls, with no port forwarding or extra fees.

Installing security contractors can easily activate and manage C1M1 communicators, as well as remotely program the M1 control over the IP or cellular pathway, the company says.  Consumers can control the M1 remotely via the free ElkLink mobile app and web portal, as well as eKeypad and M1 Touch Pro third party apps.

Additional features include email and text notifications for arm, disarm and alarm events, as well as support for ELK’s IP based software and interface partners.
