DES PLAINES, Ill. — Wholesale central station monitoring provider Emergency24 recently announced the addition of Melissa Hence as director of conversions, a newly created position established “to support the company’s continued growth and expanding dealer operations.”
Hence brings 26 years of experience in the alarm monitoring industry with a background in account management, data accuracy and central station operations. Her experience includes “leading complex account conversions while maintaining continuity, accuracy and service performance,” the announcement says.
In her role, Hence “will oversee the processes that support dealers and integrators as they transition accounts into Emergency24’s monitoring environment,” according to the company announcement. Her work “will focus on helping ensure conversions are handled accurately and efficiently while maintaining continuity for dealers and their customers.”
Why Did Emergency24 Hire Melissa Hence?
“Conversions are one of the most operationally sensitive parts of a monitoring relationship,” says Steve Mayer, CEO of Emergency24, in the company announcement. “Melissa’s experience strengthens our ability to support dealers as they move accounts, scale their businesses and maintain consistency across their monitoring operations.

In addition to her operational experience, Hence serves as a director and New Jersey Electronic Life Safety Association (NJELSA) board member.
