QUINCY, Mass. — Access control solutions provider FlyLock has announced a strategic partnership with the Electronic Security Association (ESA) to arm technicians with training and to enrich services offered by its network of nearly 100 franchise locations across the United States, according to a joint announcement.
Through this partnership, ESA becomes FlyLock’s provider of “industry-leading education, certification and business resources,” the announcement says. FlyLock franchise owners and their teams will have the opportunity to adopt ESA’s National Training School security and life safety training programs.
In addition, ESA will serve as a business development partner, delivering tools, business insurance and guidance designed to “help FlyLock locations build profitability, increase recurring monthly revenue (RMR) and strengthen customer relationships,” according to the joint announcement.
FlyLock will hold its annual franchisee event in tandem with ESA’s Electronic Security Expo, scheduled for June 1-4, 2026, in Irving, Texas, offering business owners in-person touchpoints with the organization and its membership.
Franchisees are encouraged to stay for ESX’s business development content, specializing in RMR growth. Programming specifics are currently in development.
Why Did FlyLock Partner with ESA on Training?
The ESA partnership with FlyLock “reinforces both organizations’ commitment to raising industry standards, advancing workforce development and driving sustainable growth in the electronic security and life safety sector,” according to the joint announcement.
“We’re excited to partner with ESA, whose expertise in training and business support will help accelerate FlyLock’s growth and ensure our franchisees are equipped with the highest level of industry knowledge,” says Barry McMenimom, FlyLock chief business development officer, in the announcement. “This collaboration enhances our ability to deliver both cutting-edge security solutions and trusted professionalism to our customers.”
Recognized as a top access control service provider by Enterprise Security, FlyLock joins a cohort of more than 1,500 integrator members of the Electronic Security Association, the largest community of electronic security and life safety dealers/integrators in the nation.
Members deliver access control, intrusion, video surveillance, fire and professional monitoring services to homes, businesses, schools, municipalities, hospitals, manufacturing facilities and more.
“ESA is proud to support FlyLock in its mission to innovate and expand,” says ESA chairman and Doyle Security chief operating officer Kevin Stone in the joint announcement. “By equipping FlyLock franchisees with proven training and business development resources, we are strengthening not only their success, but the success of our industry as a whole. We welcome them to the ESA community and look forward to our collaboration.”
