ESA Installs New President, 4 Officers

IRVING, Texas

During its annual membership meeting at the Electronic Security Expo (ESX), the Electronic Security Association (ESA, formerly NBFAA) installed Charles “Dom” D’Ascoli as its president for a two-year term.

D’Ascoli, who is president of Franklin, N.C.-based Smoky Mountain Systems Inc., served from 2004-2009 as ESA vice president and during the previous year as vice president/president elect. His involvement with ESA includes serving as a North Carolina board member representative from 2001-2004 and as chair of the Standards and Elections committees.

“ESA has meant so much to me and done so much to help my business. Being president gives me the opportunity to give back to the industry and the association. I hope to support the industry and other businesses in the same way that I’ve been supported,” he says.
