DALLAS — The Electronic Security Association (ESA) will hold its annual Leadership Summit in-person at the Omni Frisco, home of the Dallas Cowboys Worldwide Headquarters, Oct. 4-7. Last year’s conference was hosted virtually due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Hundreds of executives from the electronic security and life-safety industry are scheduled to participate in the conference, which offers a range of networking and educational sessions.
Managers and executives will take part in pre-scheduled one-on-one meetings, share best practices, collaborate and get expert advice from peers inside and outside of the security industry.
Subject matter experts announced to present on the Leadership Summit’s Main Stage, include:
Dr. Ivan Joseph’s keynote, “Building a High Performance Team,” will illuminate how to articulate common values and a shared sense of purpose; create team cohesion, the foundation of elite team performance; and set higher expectations to achieve new levels of performance.
Chad Porter, best-selling author and coach, will deliver an address about overcoming obstacles and persevering. Porter is scheduled to recount the obstacles he faces and deliver an uplifting message about perseverance, self-esteem and accomplishing goals in his keynote titled, “Inspiring a Better You.”
In his keynote titled, “Winning the Talent War,” Jeff Butler will speak about the complete employee lifecycle from hiring, managing to retaining. Each segment covers key areas where companies often lose their talent ranging from: mistakes in their recruitment process, to failing to adjust management styles to accommodate the changing workplace expectations.
“Leading From the Inside Out,” Jennifer Currence’s keynote, will teach attendees how to achieve maximum results from their teams and businesses. Through best practices, attendees will understand who they are as a leader and how they can use this information to manage the performance of direct reports, communicate effectively with peers, and make strategic decisions that best benefit the organization and key stakeholders.
The Leadership Summit’s education program will also speak to setting expectations and KPI’s, sales forecasting and pipeline management, retaining top talent and more.
The event is tailored to industry executives from companies of any size who want to network, better their teams and grow business. Meetings can be scheduled in advance through the Summit’s meeting-request platform that will also suggest professionals who share your interests.
