IRVING, Texas — The Electronic Security Association (ESA) installed Angela White as the 2016-2018 ESA president and four new executive committee members at their annual membership meeting held during the Electronic Security Expo (ESX) in Fort Worth.
White has 30 years of experience within the electronic security industry. Her background consists of various roles including installer, service technician, sales, general management and company ownership.
She is currently an equity partner and the executive vice president of Central 1 Security in Brookfield, Wis., where she is primarily responsible for the operation of the corporation. White is also the founder and previous owner of Pro-Tech Systems of Vermont. She was also the president of Vermont ESA, where she co-authored state licensing.
“One of my goals is to continue the legacy of strong leadership that has made ESA the foremost industry association,” White said. “ESA member companies are developing some tremendous rising leaders and I’m looking forward to getting them involved with the association to bring fresh perspectives and position this great organization for continued future success. I am honored and humbled to serve as ESA president for the next term.”
The following individuals have also been duty elected to serve the ESA:
- Vice President (2-year term) — Tim Creenan, Amherst Alarm
- Vice President (2-year term) — Chris Mosley, Complete Security Systems
- Vice President (1-year term) — G. Thomas Eggebrecht, Ph.D., Bonds Alarm
- Secretary (2-year term) — Jon Sargent, Tyco
The new term begins on July 1. The current ESA president, Marshall Marinace, will continue to serve on the executive committee for two years as immediate past president.
