eTrue and Sytex Inc. have entered into a reseller agreement in which Sytex, which specializes in information security system engineering and integration to government and commercial customers, will offer the eTrue biometric authentication service as an information assurance layer to Sytex customers to protect their critical IT resources, network access and remote access to enterprise IT services.
Applications using biometrics, such as fingerprints, face, voice, iris and signature, include authentication of government personnel for access to secure government Web sites, data, transactions and military functions.
“In particular, eTrue’s complete biometric infrastructure makes it easy for our customers to deploy and scale up in volume with any one or combination of biometrics,” says Stan Maleski, chief of biometrics at Sytex. “The expansion of our capabilities and offerings, to include the eTrue biometric trusted service, will open up additional opportunities with our customers who seek an enhanced level of IS security.”
