Ex-NYC Police Commissioner to Give Keynote at ISC West

ALEXANDRIA, Va.

The 2004 International Security Conference West will open up with some words from the former New York City police commissioner who stood by Mayor Rudy Giuliani after two hijacked planes slammed into the World Trade Center.

Bernard Kerik will deliver the keynote address on the opening day of ISC West’s Industry Summit, March 31, at Las Vegas’ Sands Expo and Convention Center.

Kerik was Giuliani’s point man in efforts to coordinate the public safety response in New York to the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks. He most recently served as senior policy advisor to the U.S. Presidential Envoy to Iraq and as Iraq’s interim minister of interior. His biography, “The Lost Son; A Life in Pursuit of Justice” has been optioned by Miramax to be produced as a movie.

ISC West, the annual electronic security industry event sponsored by the Security Industry Association (SIA) will take place from March 30 to April 4.
