More than 700 attendees took part in PSA-TEC 2009, which offered a combination of well-received industry training, exhibits and relaxed networking opportunities.
Hosted by PSA Security Network, the 2009 show at the Pheasant Run Resort near Chicago surpassed last year’s conference in both attendance and the number of companies represented (205) despite widespread economical challenges.
During the event, SSI Editor-in-Chief Scott Goldfine conducted exclusive video interviews with many industry insiders about their individual businesses and the industry overall.
Goldfine sat down one-on-one with experts for these industry-exclusive interviews, which include:
- Paul Iverson of HID on convergence, network solutions and logical access control
- Bob McKee of Samsung Techwin on the evolution of the trade show from an emphasis on technical training to networking between manufacturers and integrators
- Paul Cronin of the integrator network 1nservice on collaborative commerce and the importance of technical education.
- Chuck Wilson of the National Systems Contractors Association on a sneak peek of the association’s new health insurance program
SECURITY SALES & INTEGRATION served as Elite Media Sponsor for the event, which offered a combination of well-received industry training, exhibits and relaxed networking opportunities.
