Integrator ASG Security made the focus of the 5th annual ASG Security Expo held at Seattle’s Safeco Field “Security in a Converging World.” This year’s event hosted by the Beltsville, Md.-based security integrator, centered on integrating IT and physical security to form comprehensive security solutions.
According to Dan Sterry, director of business development with Lenel Systems Int’l Inc. of Pittsford, N.Y., the Expo showed the security market how to meet client needs while providing a communication process where both security vendors and clients can define, execute, and sustain a security solution over time.
Participants were able to interact with expert industry speakers who represented risk management, security benchmarking and consulting, as well as technology. This provided perspectives on organizational, technological, and industry-specific convergence issues. Between presentations, attendees were able to talk with leading product companies featuring the latest security products and solutions. Included were access control, CCTV, alarm systems and intelligent video.
According to ASG, more than 250 people attended the event.
