VANCOUVER, British Columbia, Canada – Extreme CCTV, a global provider of surveillance equipment, has acquired Forward Vision CCTV Ltd., a leading United Kingdom-based provider of intelligent mechanical pan/tilt/zoom (p/t/z) cameras, for the sum of $10 million (Canadian).
Management expects the acquisition to add significantly to Extreme’s product portfolio as well as its revenue. The technical expertise of Forward Vision also augments that of Extreme’s engineering team. Extreme expects to retain the founding engineers of Forward Video.
