Extreme CCTV, maker of the “suicide cell” camera in use in many prison systems, has announced that they will provide a vandal-resistant corner camera for use in an Iraqi prison. The EX36MNX will be used inside prison cells to monitor the whole room 24 hours a day.

The camera combines precision optics with a large LED infrared illuminator array. It also incorporates a newly developed mechanical filter that adjusts for the type of light reaching the CCD sensor.
