Extreme CCTV Wins N.Y. Transit Security Bid

Surveillance equipment company Extreme CCTV US has been picked as a subcontractor for New York City’s transit security video system. The company says it was selected by Lockheed Martin for the deal and will provide the New York Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) with programs and hardware designed to “combat terrorism” in the transit system. The contract is worth about $920,000, which the company says is its largest ever.
