DALLAS – The Foundation for Advancing Security Talent (FAST) has named John Nemerofsky of SAGE Integration as chairman of the FAST Board of Directors.
Nemerofsky will lead the board of directors drawn from the membership of the Security Industry Association (SIA) and the Electronic Security Association (ESA) in “developing and refining FAST’s strategic plan and identifying the foundation’s annual goals,” according to the foundation announcement.
With a career in the security industry spanning more than 25 years, Nemerofsky has “dedicated his career to advancing the innovation and integration of security technology – protecting the people, facilities and reputations of enterprise clients nationwide,” the announcement says.
In 2019, he assumed the role of chief operating officer at SAGE Integration, a national security integration provider operating across 62 major U.S. metro areas and boasting a team of more than 19,000 installer partner specialists.
During his tenure at Niscayah – now Stanley Security Systems – Nemerofsky was “instrumental in the organization’s growth to over $1 billion in revenue,” the FAST announcement says.

Beyond his role at SAGE, Nemerofsky is “deeply engaged in the security industry on multiple fronts,” including his active involvement in FAST and service on SIA’s board of directors and as chairman of the SIA Member Engagement and Experience Committee.
Nemerofsky also sits on the boards of PSA and Security Sales & Integration and is chairman of the SecurityXchange.

Nemerofsky assumes the role of FAST chair from Kerri Sutherland, manager of human resources business partnerships at Axis Communications, who will remain on the FAST board and oversee the foundation’s Security Technician of the Year Awards.
