OTTAWA, Ontario, Canada — Feenics, a provider of Cloud-hosted integrated access control and security management solutions, announces the availability of the August 2020 update of its Keep by Feenics Cloud-hosted access control platform.
The August 2020 update of Keep by Feenics features new functionality, including support for single sign-on authentication and scheduled reports.
“We are thrilled that our latest update includes features highly desired by our customers,” says Hanna Farah, chief technology officer at Feenics, “The new single sign-on capability allows our customers to streamline the user authentication process into Keep, reduces password fatigue, and provides a tighter integration with their backend IT systems. Combined with multi-factor authentication capability enabled through the customer’s backend IT security stack, a single sign-on approach offers a solid one-two punch in combating malicious cyber activity.
Additional features available with the update include the ability to share access levels from the customer enterprise root instance down through shared instances (tenant) and support for ASSA ABLOY’s Aperio line of wireless locks.
“We’ve also added the ability to automate report generation and distribution, scheduling reports streamlines administrative processes and as a bonus, managers will conveniently have reports automatically routed to their inboxes,” adds Farah.
Lastly, the Keep infrastructure has been updated to run on top of Microsoft’s .Net Core to facilitate better overall system performance and cross platform support.
Feenics is a Mercury Platinum level partner and certified as an International Organization for Standardization ISO 9001:2015 company. Keep has been newly certified as a FICAM & FIPS-201-2 compliant solution.
