Fire-Lite Alarms announces its 2008 schedule of fire alarm systems training courses, offering installers more than 50 chances to attend free classes held across the United States.

Three course levels are designed to complement every level of industry professional, and include the MiniScan Academy, SuperLite Academy and the Super Academy.

The three-day MiniScan Academy will cover training on Fire-Lite’s fire alarm control panels and voice evacuation systems. Also included are power supply fundamentals, product features, installation methods, programming and troubleshooting, as well as installation and configuration of Fire-Lite’s IPDACT module, which enables the transmission of alarms from a fire alarm control panel via any IP network line.

The intermediate course, SuperLite Academy, will feature instruction and hands-on exercise in the capabilities, installation, programming and troubleshooting of all Fire-Lite manufactured addressable control panels. The two-day course will wrap-up with two hours of installation and configuration training on the IPDACT module.
