Fire-Lite Seeks Feedback to Enhance Products

NORTHFORD, Conn.

Honeywell has created a new portal for its Fire-Lite Alarms for industry professionals to voice their equipment needs and improvement ideas directly to the company. Field technicians, engineers and Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJs) can now be an integral part of Fire-Lite’s Product Improvement Process via the www.firelite.com Web site.

From small aesthetic tweaks to new product requests, Fire-Lite continually looks for ways to enhance its product portfolio for dealers and end users. The product design team closely reviews each request. According to Honeywell, the response has been overwhelming, with weekly submissions increasing exponentially.

“We’re not just talking about ideas for changing the color of the (fire alarm) panel,” says Nick Martello, Fire-Lite’s director of marketing. “This process gives experienced fire professionals a way to connect with us. Tell us what products are working for them. Tell us what features are needed to make the products better – easier to install, easier to maintain. And most importantly, what’s needed to improve the overall level of safety our systems provide.”

Data sheets, manuals, wiring diagrams and other information on the company’s complete line of commercial fire alarm systems can be accessed at www.firelite.com.
