Employees of Fire-Lite Alarms Inc./Notifier raised $51,000 for the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation’s recent Walk to Cure Diabetes at Lighthouse Point Park in New Haven, Conn. In all, 165 employees took part in the 5K walk to raise money and awareness for Diabetes research.
Fire-Lite/Notifier, which provided one of the largest walk teams of the annual event, was named a Presenting Sponsor of the event due to the amount of support the company has provided. In the past three years, Fire-Lite/Notifier employees have raised more than $150,000 in donations, sponsorships and company matches.
