First Tennessee Bank to Serve as Potter Electric’s Primary Lender

MEMPHIS,  Tenn. — First Tennessee Bank will now serve as Potter Electric Signal Co.‘s primary bank as the company refinances its senior secured debt.

Potter decided to partner with First Tennessee due to the bank’s understanding and support of the fire protection company’s vision of its future business opportunities, according to the company. Negotiations were completed and agreements were signed on Sept. 29.

“First Tennessee and [its] Senior Vice President Phil Stevenson worked diligently to provide Potter the flexibility and liquidity necessary to support [our] continued future growth and provide our customers with the same service and support that they have come to expect from us,” says Potter Electric Signal Co. President and CEO Bernie Lears.

First Tennessee Bank is a subsidiary of First Horizon National Corp. and serves families and businesses through 180 locations in Tennessee and surrounding states.
