Fiber-optic cabling manufacturer and distributor Fiber Instrument Sales Inc. (FIS) has announced training programs for the summer. The training sessions will be held at FIS’ Adirondack training facility at the BrightSide resort at Raquette Lake.
Enrollments are being accepted for two-day Fiber Optics I and Fiber Optics II course scheduled for June 19-21, July 24-26, Aug. 7-9 and Aug. 21-23.
Training includes fiber-optic splicing, polishing techniques, cable preparation, connector assembly and test equipment.
