Fluidmesh Networks of Boston releases the FM3100M-HW IP backhauling system, an enhancement to its FM3100 MITO.
Designed for medium and large point-to-multipoint deployments with up to 150 clients, the product mounts a 2 X 2 multiple-input and multiple-output (MIMO) sector antenna. It also provides an enclosure that protects the unit from changes in weather.
The product is capable of creating point-to-point, point-to-multipoint, mesh and mixed architectures, and can be used for applications such as video surveillance, enterprise backhauling, VoIP backhauling, supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA), and smart grids.
Depending on their needs, integrators can choose to run conduit or cable to the FM3100M-HW, according to the company.
