Counterterrorism specialist Francis X. Taylor, who serves as a vice president and CSO for General Electric Co. (GE), will provide the keynote address at the 2009 Electronic Security Expo (ESX) in Baltimore.
The former ambassador will share insights on local solutions to global threats on June 24, 2009, at the Baltimore Convention Center. Taylor was the former head of security for the U.S. Department of State (DoS) charged with worldwide protection of U.S. embassies, consulates and DoS personnel. He became a senior advisor to President Bush on counterterrorism in the wake of 9/11.
Taylor’s keynote address will outline the threats that occupy the minds and budgets of governmental and corporate security decision makers, and recommend strategies for integration and monitoring companies to become security solution providers of choice to these markets.
