Former Head of Siemens’ Security Installation Arm to Lead Dedicated Micros

Alan Calegari, most recently president of Siemens Building
Technology’s (SBT) security division, is the new president
and CEO of CCTV manufacturer Dedicated Micros Inc. Calegari
will assume his new position on May 1, succeeding Graham
Wallis.

Calegari, the subject of interviews with SSI in November2004 and September 2005, left SBT inNovember after a year leading the security systemsinstallation firm. Calegari, who holds a PhD from theUniversity of Studies of Rome, also had a long tenure withJohnson Controls.

“These are exciting times for us and we believe that he canplay a pivotal role driving the business forward,” saysNigel Petrie, chairman of the parent company of DedicatedMicros, the AD Group.
