Former NFL Star, Vietnam Vet to Keynote ESX
PITTSBURGH
Rocky Bleier, the famed running back who played on four Super Bowl-winning Pittsburgh Steelers teams, will deliver the keynote luncheon address at the Electronic Security Expo (ESX), held June 15-17 in Pittsburgh.
Bleier, a Vietnam veteran, will share his story of overcoming adversity in his keynote, “Leaning Forward Into Life.” The talk will focus on his transition from a wounded soldier returning to the United States to a successful NFL career.
“Rocky Bleier is a true American hero, having overcome injuries that almost kept him from walking to becoming a football star only a few years later,” says ESX Chair George De Marco. “His inspirational story will provide ESX attendees with the drive to perform exceptionally and improve their businesses.”
Bleier was awarded the Purple Heart and Bronze Star for his service in the Army. His book “Fighting Back,” was also made into a movie on ABC.
The keynote luncheon will take place on June 16 at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center. For more information, click here.
