Former Pittsburgh Steeler Rocky Bleier to Keynote CAA Winter Convention

SAN FRANCISCO — The California Alarm Association (CAA) will host its Winter Convention and Western States Security Conference Dec. 9-11 in San Francisco.

Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in numerous seminars and workshops geared to help companies improve their businesses, discuss the latest technology offerings and network with other industry professionals.

A highlight each year at the event, the CAA Executive Symposium is led by a panel of industry leaders who share their insights on trends affecting businesses and their take on the state of the industry. This year’s group features Honeywell Security & Communications President JoAnna Sohovich, Protection One dealmaker Jim Covert and UTC Fire & Security’s Bob Haskins.

Former NFL running back Rocky Bleier, who starred on four Super Bowl-winning Pittsburgh Steelers teams, will deliver a keynote address. Along with hearing his inspiring life story, attendees will have the opportunity to get a close-up view of Bleier’s coveted championship rings.

Additionally, Jon Sargent, ADT Security Services industry liaison and past CAA president, will receive the George A. Weinstock Award. The ceremony, recognizing lifetime achievement and service to the industry, was established in 1999 as the highest honor bestowed by the association.
