NORTH CANTON, Ohio, — Diebold Inc. has hired former Stanley Convergent Security Solutions (CSS) executive Felix Gonzales as its new vice president of strategic initiatives and business development.
In his new role, Gonzales will support the growth of Diebold’s electronic security business through initiatives and programs that improve the customer’s security and business operations. He will also be responsible for the enhancement of customer experience in account management, project installation, support services, emergency monitoring, and online hosted services across all markets.
“I am confident in his ability to help lead the electronic security business,” says Tony Byerly, Diebold’s executive vice president of electronic security. “Felix’s extensive security and leadership experience will be highly valuable and enable us to further build and strengthen our security competency in North America and expand the model globally.”
A 20-year electronic security industry veteran, Gonzales formerly worked for Stanley CSS as vice president of strategic initiatives and business development. Prior to his work at Stanley, he was vice president of national accounts sales for HSM Electronic Protection Services.
Gonzales also gained leadership experience working for Honeywell’s security monitoring business where he served in various positions such as regional director, director national accounts and business unit leader.
