The founder and president of Monitoring Automation Systems (MAS) has retired from GE Infrastructure, Security. Steve Keefer retired as the president of the MAS division on June 30 after founding the company more than 20 years ago.
GE purchased the supplier of automation software for central stations in June 2003. Keefer has remained president of MAS, now a GE division, since the sale.
