Roger Fradin has been appointed president and COO of Pittway, which will be known as the Safety and Security Solutions division of Honeywell’s Home and Building Control Products business. “New leadership is called for,” says King Harris, Pittway’s CEO. “We want to build on the solid foundation we already have in place, while maintaining the dynamism that made us successful for so long. Roger helped make the ADEMCO Group what it is today, the world’s largest manufacturer of electronic security equipment.” Fradin joined ADEMCO in 1976 as product manager and became an ADEMCO vice president in 1980. In 1985, he was appointed president of the ADEMCO Manufacturing Companies. Meanwhile, Dan Mayleben has been named the organization’s vice president and CFO. He most recently was controller of Honeywell’s Home and Building Control Products unit.
