JUPITER, Fla. — Proceeds from downloading a new song written for G4S Secure Solutions USA is helping the company raise funds for children and families in need.
Texas musicians Jon Christopher Davis and Sparky Pearson wrote “Securing Your World” to help G4S launch its new branding last year at ASIS Int’l Seminar and Exhibits in Dallas.
The tune — part marketing jingle, part country-rock anthem – was performed live at a reception attended by more than 650 customers, partners and G4S employees. Soon after many of the attendees requested the song, sparking the idea for the fundraiser, says G4S CEO Nick Buckles.
“Our management team thought it would be a great opportunity to use it to raise funds for people in need – specifically families and children,” he says. “We are encouraging G4S employees worldwide to help make this charitable effort a success, and ask that they get their friends and families involved as well.”
