TORONTO – G4S Canada has released a new upgrade solution for legacy Casi-Rusco access control security systems. Centered on AMAG’s existing Symmetry software, the solution allows for an easy migration path from existing Casi-Rusco installations with minimal downtime or additional investment, according to the company.

Casi-Rusco manufactures systems under the brands Secure Perfect, Picture Perfect and Facility Commander. Support for these systems will be discontinued as of 2020. The G4S upgrade solution is available now for users who are looking to migrate away from these end-of-life products.

Symmetry is a complete solution for access control where the software and door controllers are designed as one solution by the same team.

“There are a lot of Casi-Rusco users across the country who are looking for the best way forward,” says Rob Plume, G4S Canada’s director of sales and technology, Client Solutions. “They’ve invested in a system which the manufacturer is now walking away from. Our solution offers an easy migration to AMAG’s advanced Symmetry software platform while preserving the customer’s existing card readers, cabling, enclosures, wiring and infrastructure. And AMAG has never orphaned a product in over 40 years of operation.”
